World Outreach Evangelical Ministry New York branch have recently focused our outreaches on intercessions; mass mailing of Christian tracts to local residents; door to door housing witnesses; personal contacts in the shopping malls,and train/bus stations. Harvests are plentiful but laborers are few. We are praying that the God of harvest will harvest plenty of souls to His kingdom. We seek your prayers, donations, and other supports.

Recently, we have gathered a significant amount of clothing for distribution to the needy in Rockaways. We have sent barrels of clothing to Haiti to help with relief efforts. We also will be sending another shipment of clothing to Nigeria as soon as possible. As a congregation we have been committed to trying to give a monetary donation to missions to provide ongoing support to our missions at home and abroad.

God has been doing a new thing in the Rockaways, New York. Clothing, shoes and bibles are being collected and distributed to people in need. So far, needy people in nursing homes and adult homes have benefited from the clothing donated from people like YOU who God has used. The recipients feel better about themselves when going to church. While visiting the facilities, our workers have been able to pray with other residents who are not yet part of the family of God and share the bible with all who are willing to listen. Recently we received a donation of bibles from another ministry and we pray that those who receive the bibles will be drawn to God.

Regular follow up continues with visits and individual bible discussion with the residents. Please pray for us and with us as we work to develop a relationship with other community residents. We continue to pray for more donations of gently used clothing, shoes, and bibles, especially large print.

In the last Summer, we shared God's love in the City of Far Rockaway, by distributing food and clothing material in an open market version (nothing was on sale, everything was given out for free).

The Iloro Ekiti outreach was started on Nov. 11, 2011 with an awareness program. Door to door invitations were given to the town residents. An open-air crusade started on Nov. 11, 2011 at 5Pm – and the program lasted till 9PM. 13 people gave their lives to Jesus on the 1st day of the crusade.

 

 

A morning session crusade was held on Nov. 12, 2011 at 10AM. It was a period of prayer and impartations with gifting of the Holy Spirit. We also provided medical assistance during the program. More than 314 people either received medications and/or medical treatments. The morning section program did not end until 3:40PM.

 

An open-air crusade was started at 6:15 PM on Nov. 12, 2011, and the program lasted until 9:30PM. 28 people accepted Jesus Christ into their lives. The 3rd day of the crusade was also filled with the power of God.

 

Sixty people gave their lives to Jesus Christ during the 3-day open-air crusade. The outreach was marked with various testimonies of the powerful things that God did. Many sick people received their healing. One of them is a twelve years old boy who had unable to eat for the past 7 days. He received his instant healing. He was given food immediately after prayer, and the boy finished the food! You can imagine how joyful his parents were. Many people received baptism of the Holy Spirit. Some of them spoke in tongues and prophesied. The program came to an end with a special thanksgiving to God on November 13, 2011. Praise God! <ENTER MISSION PAGE>
