120 DAYS BIBLE COMMENTARY–FREE!
David did the best he could for his country. He put his life in his hands to fight Goliath and he won. 
However, David was not rewarded adequately. The most powerful man in the land, King Saul perceived him as a formidable leader, and he sought every opportunity to kill him. David had to sleep in the jungle - all by himself with no food for 3 days - waiting for his friend Jonathan to confirm what his fate would be.
Lesson 1:
In most cases, world authorities marginalize believers and refuse to serve us with balanced justice. That should not make us to drop batons and assume that God has forgotten us. God never forgets his children. We should not allow any unconducive circumstance to weaken us. Children of God must continue to trust God for deliverance. In as much as God is alive, he will remember people that faithfully serve him, and he will reward us adequately.
Review From Luke:
Jesus Christ encouraged all people not to get too busy and forget that he would return to rapture the saints. The messiah said take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man (Luke 21:34-36).
Lesson 2:
We are living in the world that is full of activities. These activities can easily block people's mind, and also blindfold them from recognizing the signs that Jesus Christ predicted would usher in his second coming. Children of God must not be carried away with events. We must consciously wait for Jesus Christ, and be ready for rapture. We must pray to be filled with the Holy Spirit that will keep us fit for heaven.
Prayer 1:
God please let your Holy Spirit guide my activities and keep me fit for rapture. Let me sing songs of victories when I arrive in your presence in heaven. For I make my requests in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Prayer 2:
God help me to work by faith and not by sight. Help me to believe that no human circumstance can change the plans of God for my life. I receive faith to continue to trust God. In the name of Jesus Christ I made my request. Amen.

BIBLE PASSAGE (Gen 33,34,35 Mat. 20:17-34)
Review From Genesis:
Everything went wrong for Jacob’s family in Genesis Chapter 34 because of a disobedient child. Dinah, Jacob’s daughter trespassed outside a safe border, and a Hivite forced her into a relationship. Therefore, Jacob’s children killed all Hivite men. The crisis led to an overnight displacement of a happy Jacob's family. (Again, the whole troubles started with a disobedience child who would not adhere to her father’s instructions.)
Review From Matthew:
Jesus foretold what would be the end of his earthly journey. He said “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.” Jesus knew the dangers ahead but he was not scared. He preferred to face dangers because of you and me.
Lesson 1:
We must revere God and obey his instructions. Many unimaginable negative consequences always follow negligence and acts of disobedience.
Lesson 2:
We should never underestimate what Jesus Christ did on the cross. Even though his innocence was obvious, yet he paid ultimate penalty as a criminal. He suffered all shame for us to be saved.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus I thank you for all that you have suffered so that I can be saved. I cannot appreciate you enough but the token I am giving you is that, as from today, I accept you as my personal savior. Effectiveness of Christmas
Christmas period seems to be the best season of the year in the western world. "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holiday" which one is correct?
Christmas is not just a holiday, it should be spelled out. Christmas means much more than what our secular society is making us to believe. Christmas holiday has been celebrated in various parts of the world before President Ulysses Grant signed it into the law of United States in 1870. Christmas is a religious holiday and it is celebrated worldwide on December 25th of every year to mark the birth of Jesus Christ. Of course, someone may continue to argue about the accuracy of the particular birthday of Jesus Christ but, the effect of his birth can never be erased.

Touch Lives at Christmas 2009
The City of Nineveh was in big trouble when God called Jonah to mediate. Jonah’s mission was to announce God’s wrath and preach repentance. Jonah preached, Nineveh repented and God showed mercy. This story may seem short and sweet but that’s not all about it, there are many details to it. Jonah was not willing to mediate for Nineveh , God had to force Jonah to deliver his message before Nineveh was saved from destruction. Unfortunately, places like Nineveh are plenty but there are few mediators. Many people are dying in sin which means they are going to hell fire. This is not a sweet story! God is willing to use people like you and me to save the lost. The Release of Christian Captives
The rebels in Afghanistan are holding twenty one (21) Christians from South Korean in hostage. The Christian group was comprised of eighteen (18) women and five (5) men but two (2) of its members have been killed. Taliban claims the reason for these people’s abduction is as a result of their professions of Christian faith and their endeavoring to preach gospels to Afghan Muslims. Read article in full >>

Appreciation for the Release of Christian Captives
On August 11, 2007 our ministry sent you a letter requesting for your intercessory prayers for the release of South Korean Christians that were held hostage by Taliban in Afghanistan , the BBC service announced the release of the nineteen (19) captives on August 30, 2007. Although this event seemed to have passed yet our ministry considers it necessary to update you on this matter and more importantly to appreciate your love for standing in gap for our fellow Christians by observing some moments of prayer. By now, it is made clear that the word of God is true and it remains unchanged as it is established in James 5:16 that “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. Errors of Davinci Code
The “Da Vinci Code” is an adventurous book with collections that trap readers. Readers discovered at the last page that buying the book is a waste of money, time and energy. The book is full of mysteries such that many people do not want to talk about it, however there is nothing to be afraid about in Dan Brown’s write-up. In fact, Da Vinci Code should be considered a proof to measure Christians’ faith. The book checks Christians to examine how steadfast their faith is grounded in the Lord. While I would not recommend Da Vinci Code for anyone, I still consider it worthwhile to address the confusions caused by its author for both the Christians and non Christian Communities. Prayers for USA over Economic Crisis
The economic crisis of the United States is sinking and no one seems to have solution to the problem. Millions of people have lost their jobs. Some financial analysts predict this may result to depression crisis. Several ways to stop this ongoing economic crisis have failed. The government economic package released in spring of 2008 appears to have little or no effect on the problem. Many industries have declared bankruptcy, workers are being laid off and many families are suffering. The nation's president and the legislators are making efforts but effects of this crisis are still much felt. Hollywood Baloney
It sounded like great news few months ago when Steven Spielberg a Hollywood artistic director announced the withdrawal of his bid from the Beijing Olympic Games as an artistic advisor. Steve claimed his decision was based on China’s refusal to economically influence Sudan to stop Darfur genocide. When this news broke out I exclaimed "finally Hollywood wants to become responsible!" I thought if Steven Spielberg who is one of the Hollywood core people can profess to support humanitarian services then; it appears that the degrading values of Hollywood can be restored again.
